چکیده

Cement, sand, coarse aggregate, water and reinforcing bar are the materials to make a reinforced concrete beam. The waste paper has been dumped as causes environmental pollution behind mill or landfill. industry wastage for every year is increasing gradually. More spaces being needed landfills, uses energy loss of natural resources increase expenditure various types pollutions. Utilizing an addition in beam production will reduce This research conducted investigate structural behaviour containing 10% shredded mixed cardboard additions with three reinforcements such full shear reinforcement stirrup spacing (SS=100 mm) reduced (SS=150 (SS=200 mm). All specimens subjected air curing at 28 days. results load-deflection ultimate load-bearing capacity better days reinforcements. finding shows that exhibits highest load yield (Py), (Pu), maximum (Pmax) representing load-carrying capacity, first crack (P1) lowest deflection (δy), (δu), (δmax) compared SCPWP 0%. study indicates can be used additional production.

Behaviour of fibre reinforced concrete slabs

This paper presents a comparison of the properties of concrete slabs when two types of fibres are added. One specimen had no fibres and acted as a control specimen. The remaining four specimens had steel and polypropylene fibres added in the volumetric ratio of 0.5% and 1.0%. The dimensions of the slab specimens were 820×820×80 mm and were supported by four rollers at their edges. A displacemen...

Visualizing the behaviour of reinforced concrete beam structure under various types of loadings

This paper describes an approach to visualizing the detection of failure in Reinforced Concrete Beam Structure under various types of loadings. Several Reinforced Concrete Design (RCD) tools have been developed to support RCD, but there is little evidence that these solutions address the needs of the users. We studied RCD analysts’ daily activities in order to understand their routine work prac...

Investigation of structural behaviour of GFRP reinforced concrete deck slabs through NLFEA

This paper presents a numerical study of the structural behaviour of concrete bridge deck slabs under static patch loads and dynamic traffic loads and an investigation of compressive membrane action (CMA) inside slabs. Those deck slabs were reinforced with Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars. Non-linear finite element analysis (NLFEA) models were established using ABAQUS 6.10 software pa...

Effects of used Engine Oil in Reinforced Concrete Beams: The Structural Behaviour

In the modern construction practices, industrial wastes or by-products are largely used as raw materials in cement and concrete. These impart many benefits to the environment and bringabout an economic impact because the cost of waste disposal is constantly increasing due to strict environmental regulations. It was reported in literature that the leakage of oil onto concrete element in older ce...

Seismic Behavior of Steel Reinforced Concrete Beam-Columns and Frames

The ability to perform accurate nonlinear simulations is a key component in the assessment of the behavior of seismic force resisting systems. A three-dimensional distributed plasticity formulation for composite beam-columns suitable for nonlinear static and dynamic analyses of composite seismic force resisting systems has been developed. New uniaxial constitutive relations are developed for th...
